We have been deeply saddened to hear of the passing of composer and conductor Ronald Corp on 7 May, who served as Trinity Orchestra’s second Music Director in the 1980s.
Ron led the orchestra with passion and vision for ten transformative years, during which time we flourished under his inspired leadership.
Beyond his time as Music Director, Ron remained a cherished friend of the orchestra throughout his distinguished career. We were honoured to welcome him back in recent years to conduct a special concert, when the photo below was taken with founder members of the orchestra.
His music, generosity, and guidance have left a lasting legacy, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
